Sanity Sundays: Soap & Glory

July 15, 2018
Soap And Glory Face Masks

Sanity Sunday Edition One

I’ve always found Sundays to be one of the best and most refreshing days of the week. Even though I’m counting down the hours until I have to arrive at work the next day, I find Sundays to be the best days to do full self-care rituals. So, that’s when I decided to start making it a weekly thing, where I do something or go somewhere for myself, that will help me get ready for the busy week ahead!

This week, I’m focusing on face masks.

Specifically, these face masks from Soap & Glory! Soap & Glory’s products have always interested me. Their packaging and products draw you in with bright colours, shiny metallics and a range that caters to everyone. (They also smell incredible.) These two face masks are marketed towards those with dry skin and those looking to “de-clog” their pores. I’ve been having a little trouble with my skin, so I thought I’d give these two a try together. At only £4 on special (together!), there was no way I was going to pass up on the opportunity.

Soap & Glory really do give you “THE BEST BANG FOR YOUR BEAUTY BUDGET”.

Two amazing masks, and two reviews to match! Soap & Glory have done well.

What A Peeling – Purifying peel off mask

The WHAT A PEELING™ PURIFYING PEEL OFF MASK is a one-peel wonder. It unclogs pores, lifts away impurities, removes excess oil, smoothes and brightens. It also smells delicious and peels off IN ONE GO! That was the part that really impressed me. Usually, you peel half a mask off, only too look in the mirror and realize you still have the other half a mask still on. It comes with two masks, and an applicator, which I thought was really handy. I didn’t have to get my hands dirty at all, and it’s super pink. Like, highlight pink.

The main ingredients in this mask are:

  • Kaolin and Bentonite Fine Clay Powders to help absorb excess oil
  • White Willow Bark to help oily skin
  • Vitamin C to boost tired complexion

Speed Plump – Miracle Moisture Mask

The SPEED PLUMP™ MIRACLE MOISTURE MASK is a SUPER hydrating, turbo boost hydrogel mask. It has an easy-to-fit two-piece mask which firstly, again, smells like heaven (I think It smells like orange cough medicine, but the nice kind) and it also contains super-nourishing moisturisers to quench dry skin. The reason why I chose this mask was that it contains Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic acid keeps collagen synthesis up, as well as helping retain skin moisture, contributing to anti-aging benefits.

The main ingredients in this mask are:

  • Hyaluronic Acid: renowned for improving skin hydration and helping maintain suppleness
  • Pink FlowerPower™ skin serum containing Safflower, Rosa Rugosa Flower, and Peony Flower Extracts
  • Panthenol for skin conditioning
  • Allantoin for soothing skin
